The legend lists all existing projects, no matter which are filtered. If there is a long list of existing projects, the box is large, accordingly, and covers a significant area of the chart.

Thanks for reporting, it seems an issue is present on this chart, you may only see the projects selected in the filter.
It will be fixed.
